My favorite one is the dock photo. I used the move tool to drag the whale and the moon to the dock photo, then repositioned the whale using the move tool, then rotated, then faded the image using opacity settings in layers. Next I reposition the moon using the move tool, rotated, resized and then bordered the moon using layer style, stoke and a 5 px border. Next I add a border to the entire picture in the same manner. Finally, I added the text, coloring and shadowing in it.
1. Blend modes.
I used a blend mode to enhance the color of the flower on the desert view. It didn't change much but I tried.
2. Stacking order.
On the dock project I used the stacking order but as far as I could tell my project image didn't change much. This is stuff I was having trouble with.
3. Layer effects.
The layer effects and styles created borders on pictures layered in the projects and layer styles used in the texts. Shadowing and strokes.
4. Future usages of key elements.
I guess bordering, drop shadowing, stroke are ones to use in future projects.
5. Challenges.
Challenges were many. I was time crunched to complete the project and spent much time learning how to get to the areas to manipulate the images. I had a hard time learning how to save an image in photoshop from a jpg so I could layer it. Once I figured that out, other things came easier.
I use the alt key for changing from expanding image to minimizing. Most other commonds I use the mouse.
