Nolan Shearer - Project 4

1. Which blend modes did you experiment with and then use in your project?
I used multiply and darken for my images darken would good on this one to help blend in the cars.

2. How did you use the stacking order to produce your final results in your most
complex composite?
My most complex composite was my rat behind bars composite. I stacked my text behind the bars, behind the rat but in front of the wall.

3. What layer effects did you use? Which layer styles did you apply to another
layer?
I used gradient overlay, drop shadow, outside glow, and stroke. On the others I also used pattern overlay.
4. What key elements of layer managements in this module do you plan to
use in future projects?
I think managing layers in general is the most useful part of photoshop. putting objects behind certain parts of a once flat image is an awesome thing. I also really like drop shadow and stroke.

5. What challenges did you experience in the process?
I had a little bit of trouble figuring out exactly how the gradient worked. Using gradient overlay on text was easy but trying to fade one object into another using gradient was a little hard to figure out.

6. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
I find myself always hitting "V" to get to the move tool. CMD+S is always a good one too. CMD+OPTN+Z when Im very tired and need to do stuff over and over and over....
