Karlyn Gibson- Project 4

1.  I mostly used the Overlay blend mode.  It seems that many of the blend modes have specific purposes, and since this one helped kick up the vibrancy of an image, it was the most useful.
2.  Stacking order of the layers was key.  I wanted the text and product to stand out the most, so they were the top layers.  Then I just stacked background elements in a way that made them most visually interesting.
3.  The most popular layer effect I used was the drop shadow.  It is just really helpful in separating elements from the background.  I used outer glow in a different image (not the one above) and found that it also helped lift images from the background and add depth.
4.  The turning off visibility is probably going to me the most used layer management tool.  It means you can try out different options without deleting work.
5.  I found it difficult to find images that were large enough to use without getting pixelized.
6.  I use command D to deselect a lot now.

  1. The overlay blend more was very effective. Do you think you could have achieved the same intensity with camera raw?
