1. I find working with text extremely difficult in Photoshop. I prefer Illustrator.2. The Clipping Mask effect for text is awesome and really easy. I will be using it quite often.
3. The pen works great, very similar to Illustrator as well, easy to modify and correct too. Just make sure the history window is open.
4. The shape tool was fun and easy to use, I just didn't really find an ideal use for it in my project. I did like the custom fleur de lis though.
5. Turning objects to smart objects allows layer styles and effects.
