Megan Stanley - Project 8

1. Discuss your experience using rulers and guides.
I think it was very helpful to use the guides for arranging the smaller images. I think the most useful part is the "Snap To" feature.

2. What was your favorite filter combination?  How did filters contribute to your
results?  Did they improve or distract from the result you desired?
I think this particular photo would have been better without using filters on the smaller photos, but it was fun to experiment with them. I really enjoy using the black and white filters and handpainting the color onto the photo.

3. Describe your experience using Smart Objects and the editing process.
I think Smart Objects makes editing certain aspects of images a lot easier, especially if you want to make changes further down the road. It's a lot easier to edit a Smart Object than it would be to go back to a certain point and change whatever settings you had applied without messing up something else you had done since then.

4. In your second composite, please describe your favorite features you used to
create this advanced composite. How did you challenge yourself in creating
your results?
It was challenging to go back through some of the past lessons and remember some of the options I had to work with in creating this image, but it was fun to combine everything I've learned during the course. The greatest challenge was remembering how to do everything without having it in the specific order as in the textbook.

5. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
The one I'm using most often is still the [ and ] keys to adjust brush size.
