1. Please describe your preferred method of creating text and the layer effects to make it stand out. I like the clipping mask. I think it creates a neat affect to have another image show through where the letters are. I think it makes it stand out a little more to add the multiply layer style.
2. In which way did you like results from using clipping masks for text and shapes? I think it creates a neat affect to have the image behind the objects show through like a cut out. Do you think you will use them in future projects? Definitely Why or why not? I think it creates a neat, classy affect that will compliment future projects.
3. What was your experience using the pen tool to create selections? It was okay, but a little confusing. It's a lot to remember, and I think it is going to take more practice to become easier. Were you able to modify your selections with the path adjustments tool? Yes
4. What challenges did you experience using the shape tools? The only challenge was trying to figure out how to add it to the picture in a complimenting way. Did you create a custom shape? Yes. What was it? I used the grassy custom shape along the bottom of the image.
5. How will you use smart objects in future projects? I will use the smart objects to allow me to add layer styles to the objects.
6. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now? Ctrl+S, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V. I find retaining the shortcuts difficult so I think that is going to take some additional practice and memorization.
