1.) I guess just using Rulers and Guides to align the text is my preferred method. I don't really see myself using the Pen Tool to create my own Paths. I like a few of the Warp text options, but mostly I just use the Move and Transform option to re size or adjust the shape. I mostly use the drop shadow and Stroke styles.
2.)I really liked my results using the Clipping Mask for text. I think it can add dimension to otherwise flat text. I will definitely use this feature in the future!
3.)I found the Pen Tool a little difficult and time consuming, especially using a mouse.
4.)The custom shape tools are fun, just wish there were more of them...I did create a custom shape from the outline of the woman's hair. I duplicated the layer and changed the color and style. I really like the result.
5.)I will use Smart Objects for projects in the future that I need to edit several times.
6.)Move tool+Alt, CTRL+Z, X AND +,-.
