1. Discuss your experience using rulers and guides. I like using the rulers and guides, because it allows you to place objects straight or within a certain distance of each other. It makes things a little easier and of course nicer looking.
2. What was your favorite filter combination? I liked the cutout filter, because it made the image look sort of like a cartoon. How did filters contribute to your results? I wanted each filter to be different, and I think that result looked good. Did they improve or detract from the result you desired? I think the filters may have detracted from the result. I wanted the three nature photos at the bottom of the image to sort of add to the background of the forest, and I think the filters I chose made them look too much like cartoons or not enough like their original pictures.
3. Describe your experience using Smart Objects and the editing process. I liked using smart objects, because it allowed you to add layer styles easier and to adjust the background.
4. In your second composite, please describe your favorite features you used to create this advanced composite. How did you challenge yourself in creating your results? My favorite features were the custom vector shape. I used the checkered pattern stamp. I also enjoyed playing with the mask. I challenged myself by spending extra time on the mask to make sure I really got it cut out just right by refining the edges.
5. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now? D, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Alt dragging
