01) Preferred way to make text for this project was to use the pen tool to make the path. I usually add drop shadows and strokes to the text to make them pop a little.02) It was really easy to fill the text with whatever your layer was. This way is a lot easier and more conventional than the way that I used to do it. I will be using it a lot when I need to add texture to my text.
03) My pictures were pretty linear so it was quite easy to use the pen tool for my selections.
04) I don't see how making a custom shape would be difficult, I don't like using them anyway.
05) I most likely will not be using smart objects in the near future.
06) The same ones as before, mostly shortcuts for specific tools; v, w, l, cmd t, cmd shift s etc.
