1. Rules and guides are essential!
2. I don't have a favorite filter, they all seem interesting enough. For me they were kind of distracting, but I suppose if you know what effect your looking for it's got to be in there somewhere.
3. Smart object are great, like coloring in the lines without having to worry about the lines.
4. The second project was frustrating to me, I didn't have a master plan and just tried to meet all of the requirements. I like all of the filters, I think I just need to get more experimental with them so next time I can have an actual plan before I sit down.
